Accumulator Calculator User Guide
Welcome to the ExclusiveBonus Accumulator Calculator. We have created a powerful, flexible betting tool available for serious punters who love to bet on Accas or multiple bets.
Whether you’re building simple doubles, 4-folds or multiples like a Yankee or Lucky 15, this calculator will help you understand how stakes and odds affect profits.
At ExclusiveBonus, we believe in testing bets before betting with real money. So, you can use this tool to know exactly how your bet combinations will play out if you win or lose your bet.
The accumulator calculator above supports every possible combination (singles, doubles, trebles, 4-folds, 5-folds and beyond), all standard multiple bets, Rule 4 deductions, dead-heat adjustments, full each-way functionality (including custom 1/4, 1/5 or any other place terms you need). You can input odds as decimal, fraction or American. You can stake per line or as a total stake, and the entire interface works beautifully on both desktop and mobile – no app or download required.
Below are instructions to help you get the maximum value from the tool.

How to Calculate an Accumulator or Multibet
1. Select Bet Type via the dropdown – From Singles to Full Multiples
The calculator gives you every bet combination you could think of. So select the bet type you want to place first of all from the drop-down.
2. Bet Types Explained
The calculator gives you the full mathematics of every bet type and odds combo you could possibly think of. It’s a powerful way to research the potential profitability of complicated bets. The types of bet you can select are as follows...
Singles only – 1 selection per bet (as many as you add); just straightforward win or each-way singles.
Doubles – Two selections
Trebles – Three selections
Accumulator – The preset is a 4-fold accumulator, but just add legs if you want to work out bigger accumulators.
Patent (3 selections) – 7 bets: 3 singles + 3 doubles + 1 treble.
Trixie (3 selections) – 4 bets: 3 doubles + 1 treble.
Yankee (4 selections) – 11 bets: 6 doubles + 4 trebles + 1 four-fold accumulator.
Lucky 15 (4 selections) – 15 bets: 4 singles + 6 doubles + 4 trebles + 1 four-fold accumulator.
Canadian (also called Super Yankee) (5 selections) – 26 bets: 10 doubles + 10 trebles + 5 four-folds + 1 five-fold accumulator.
Lucky 31 (5 selections) – 31 bets: 5 singles + 10 doubles + 10 trebles + 5 four-folds + 1 five-fold accumulator.
Heinz (6 selections) – 57 bets: 15 doubles + 20 trebles + 15 four-folds + 6 five-folds + 1 six-fold accumulator.
Lucky 63 (6 selections) – 63 bets: 6 singles + 15 doubles + 20 trebles + 15 four-folds + 6 five-folds + 1 six-fold accumulator.
Super Heinz (7 selections) – 120 bets: 21 doubles + 35 trebles + 35 four-folds + 21 five-folds + 7 six-folds + 1 seven-fold accumulator.
Goliath (8 selections) – 247 bets: 28 doubles + 56 trebles + 70 four-folds + 56 five-folds + 28 six-folds + 8 seven-folds + 1 eight-fold accumulator.
3. Stake Options – Total Stake or Stake Per Bet
In my experience the way staking works on multiple bets can catch people out. What exactly is a £1 Lucky 15? It can be confusing as it can mean £1 per leg of the bet, so they are really betting £15 (a lucky15 is a combination bet of 15 bets) or even £30 for an each-way Lucky 15 (doubles as you bet on place as well as win market). Or it can be a £1 total stake Lucky 15 in which the £1 stake is divided by 15 (approx 6 pence).
With the calculator you choose how much you want to stake:
Total Stake
Enter one amount (e.g. £20) and the calculator divides it equally across every bet line. Ideal for Lucky 15s and Yankees. If the maths isn’t perfect it will be as near to your total stake as possible. This is a good way of doing things if you have a set amount you want to place overall.
Stake Per Bet (the bookmaker default)
Enter the amount you want each individual leg to receive (e.g. £1 * 15 would be £15 for a Lucky15). This is handy if you want to replicate exactly in your bookmakers account as this is the way they have it on the betting slip.
Don’t think you can’t bet very small stakes in multiple bets. Bookmakers have a £0.10 minimum stake but this is total stake. So your stake per leg can be as low as £0.01 as long as it goes over £0.10 in total.
4. Each-Way Betting & Place Terms
Every selection can be set to each-way which is particularly handy for horse racing betting. Just click the "Each Way" box to turn the bet into an each-way bet.
Clicking “Each Way” will double your stake, except when you have “Total Stake” selected, then it will be halved.
Choose your place terms from the dropdown: 1/4, 1/5, 1/3, or even custom (e.g. 1/1 is good when a 5 runner race becomes a 4 runner race and the each-way bet converts to a win bet).
The calculator automatically works out the place odds for you as soon as you set the place terms
5. Inputting the Result: Won, Placed, Lost, or Void
Depending on what happened in your betting event will affect the bet. If the bet won, select won, if it placed (e.g. in horse racing) select this option. If it lost then select “Lost”. Void is an important option as not every bet in every multiple always actually takes place. So if one of the legs is void, your bet still will stand, this helps you calculate the bet with the missing leg. The void selection could be due to a horse not running or a football match being postponed or cancelled.
6. Applying Rule 4 (Non-Runners Reducing Odds)
If any horse is declared a non-runner it affects how the bet will pay out. If you want to check whether your payout at your bookie is correct you need to find which horse was withdrawn and the odds it was when you placed the bet. Here is a handy chart to check rule 4 and how much they reduce your winnings…
Odds of Non-Runner (Fractional) | Odds Range (approx. Decimal) | Deduction (pence in £1) | Equivalent % Deduction on Winnings |
1/9 or shorter | 1.11 or shorter | 90p | 90% |
2/11 to 2/17 | 1.18 – 1.12 | 85p | 85% |

2/5 to 1/3 | 1.40 – 1.33 | 70p | 70% |
8/15 to 4/9 | 1.53 – 1.45 | 65p | 65% |
8/13 to 4/7 | 1.62 – 1.57 | 60p | 60% |
4/5 to 4/6 | 1.80 – 1.66 | 55p | 55% |

10/3 to 4/1 | 4.33 – 5.00 | 20p | 20% |
9/2 to 11/2 | 5.50 – 6.50 | 15p | 15% |
6/1 to 9/1 | 7.00 – 10.00 | 10p | 10% |
9/1 to 10/1 | 10.00 – 11.00 | 5p | 5% |
11/1 to 14/1 | 12.00 – 15.00 | 4p | 4% |
Greater than 14/1 | >15.00 | 0p | 0% (no deduction) |
How to Apply Rule 4 to your Accumulator on the Calculator
Click the “Rule 4” dropdown box next to any selection(s) on your bet.
Enter the Rule 4 deduction percentage (use the chart above to work out what it would be)
The calculator automatically reduces every affected bet line by the correct proportion and recalculates all returns, including each-way and multiples.
No manual maths required! It handles complex Yankee and Lucky 15 reductions instantly.
7. Dead Heat Calculations
The tool has full dead-heat support for both win and place bets.
If your horse ties 1st with another horse, simply tick “Dead Heat Win”
If your horse ties in the final place of the each-way terms, then click “Dead Heat Place” (this option is only present if “Each Way” is first clicked)
The calculator instantly splits the stake and payout exactly as the rules require (i.e. half stake on each of two dead-heaters).
Results are shown clearly so you can see the exact return for each dead-heat scenario.
8. Removing Selections or Clearing the Calculator
Simply click “Clear All” if you wish to wipe the content and start again.
You can also delete selections from your bet by clicking the “red cross” and it will recalculate with the reduced number of selections.
9. Viewing Your Results
As soon as you enter odds or change any setting, the results table updates and you will see:
Total Return (included your stake)
Total Profit (Doesn’t include your stake)
Bets Count (Total Number of Bets placed)
Total Staked (Total amount of money bet)
10. Lucky 15 Bonuses
Many bookmakers offer bonuses for Lucky 15 bets. This includes an All Winners Bonus and 1 Winner Bonus. Fortunately the calculator has this built in. So just select the percentages to the same as your bookie to work out how much extra they will pay out!
Troubleshooting
The calculator works perfectly as long as our servers are all behaving themselves. If you run into an issue with it not working the best option is to refresh the page (yes, turn it off and on again!). If there is a persistent error with the calculator, please contact us on our contact page and we will investigate the bug.
